Yea, I think Lincoln should have made sure the MKS could win the 24hrs of LeMans .... NOT !!! This vehicle is not intended to be a "sport " sedan nor is it. What it does well is handle freeway cruising and city traffic very very competently with out beating the driver to a pulp. You know the way 99% of non midlife crisis Americans drive. If you want to send $ 60 - 70k for an automobile whose capabilities are unusable in normal driving so be it!

Isn't ironic that when the 08 Honda Accord came out, there were many people screaming that the design was stole from different cars. However the design on the MKS as not be talked about. There as only been great things. I can not help but laugh at the unfairness of everyone about things that are not American. Check out the February or January issue of Automobile magazine where the first editorial is a two page trashing of every design feature of the MKS, both inside and out. Some "looks like"s I've read on line: 90s GM car a Saturn 1999 300M from the side A G35 from the sides with longer overhangs The Greenhouse from a Jag XF A M35 from the outside Maserati back end Every car that comes out now days will be accompanied by countless people online saying "it looks alike a ..." or they "ripped off a ...." MKS has not been an exception.

I don't care that is says "Lincoln" and not "Lexus" even though I live on Long Island where domestic passenger cars are a dead item. I couldn't test drive it because of time but I will soon.

I agree with your lament. Its a nice ES 350 and pretty comparable but for the name. Lincoln has lost a lot of cache the past few years that may never return.

Let me start by asking the moderator to not move this to a new discussion. It is much easier to just check the one forum, and I'm sure most people here would be interested in discussing the article. Inside line is not a fan. In fact, I think it's the harshest review of the MKS I've read. Now I haven't driven one, but can someone who has comment on the following from the inside line review: "It's slow, crude and questionably built. It's even a little awkward to look at. Forty-six grand? For what? The engine sounds like it was built by preschoolers...in Slovenia."
