If the auto makers don't want to loose their shirts with the gas guzzling suv and pickups than they need to QUICKLY develop electric cars. They have the technology just watch the documentary "Who Killed The Electric Car". What are they waiting for?

i also agree but if toyota is going to make an electric car then they need some styling tips.

Yes the technology is there but I don't want to wait 6 hours before I have to go any where. I'm looking forward to the Volt because it has a battery that can charge while you drive. Who killed the electric car? The consumers did.
