If the auto makers don't want to loose their shirts with the gas guzzling suv and pickups than they need to QUICKLY develop electric cars. Replying to: johnboy7005 (Jun 02, 2008 3:18 pm) Yes the technology is there but I don't want to wait 6 hours before I have to go any where. I'm looking forward to the Volt because it has a battery that can charge while you drive. Who killed the electric car? The consumers did.
