I am having Coolant Problems on my 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. I keep filling it with water and it leaks right out. I have to refil the tank everytime I drive or my engine will overheat. If anyone on here may know what the problem is...please help!! Thank You in advance.

Not sure if you have fixed this already..but my guess is the head gasket is gone. Common issue with the cavalier. Fill the coolant tank and check the hoses. If no leak with engine off. Check with engine running. No leak...check your oil...does it still look like oil or is their any discolouration...ie is it grey. If so...head gasket and its mixing coolant with the oil. If not...look at the exhaust...is their excessive grey exhaust. If so..again head gasket. and its leaking into the cyclinder. The engine should run rough as well unless its a very small leak in which case you probably wont notice such a small performance issue. This is the best I can think off at the moment
