it ain't over until the gravitationally-challenged nonspecific-gender-individual sings.   even if Pontiac goes the way of Plymouth, there will be pontiac G3s on the road for years, so please let's keep the G3 forum for many years too? Hey, maybe the G3, G5, and G6, if not the G8, will be spiffed up and rebadged as Buicks. Just imagine a G3 with leather and real wood, the 260 hp direct injection, turbo Ecotec, and sport suspension. What would they call this minibeast? How about Grand Nationalette? Watch out, 1-Series! Just kidding. On second thought...   Dumb question, maybe, but what the heck does the "G" stand for? It will take a lot more than leather and real wood to ever make me choose a GM product again. Even, if now they offered something that is on par with its competition. Rebadging is a cost cutting way and is largely practiced.   Other than high end luxury cars who uses real wood? Most every car GM offers is on par or better than the competition its just that you are upset and don't want to think so.
