I've tried for over an hour using your suggestions, along w/ others, and the vent has never moved a hair. I know I've found where the clips should be, it's jut getting the leverage to pop it out. Almost to the point of taking it to the dealership. Thanks, James

Replying to: posystm (May 30, 2008 10:51 am) The shift knob will come off by pulling up on it. It is held in place by a spring loaded ball. It takes some effort, but it will come off.
