I just picked up my '08 Malibu today and traded in my 2004 F150 for it. I had an Eclipse AVN 5510 DVD in my truck and pulled it out before turning it in because there was no way I was leaving a $1300 DVD player in it on trade in...I am wondering if anyone knows if it will fit in the Malibu or if I will be selling it LOL Replies to this message: beach15 (May 16, 2008 4:56 pm) usmcairwinger (May 18, 2008 9:29 am)

Pull that out, and there's the space.   All you need to worry about is getting the correct interface modules to go with it so the steering wheel controls, chimes, etc. and especially Onstar are able to keep functioning.   Here was a thread on a Saturn Aura where an owner installed a Pioneer Avic Nav/etc. system and used the correct modules and such, along with pictures (same guts and electronics as a Malibu):   http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106543&highlight=pioneer Replies to this message: usmcairwinger (May 18, 2008 9:29 am)

Replying to: beach15 (May 16, 2008 4:56 pm) Think Im out of luck....all the plaecs I have looked for the modules online do not have them for my car and are not compatible with the eclipse. If you know of anything else let me know and it would be greatly appreciated
