Our Chrysler Minvan is starting to really wear out and rather than go into serious hock for a replacement, we're thinking of towing our 3000 lb tent camper with our Maxx, 4 or 5 times a year. It should easily handle pulling it, the van has a larger/wimpier/thirstier motor and does ok. Concerned about handling safety though. Thanks, Charles While I love my wife's 2006 V6 Maxx you'd be asking it to tow 3 times what it is rated for (Sorry, 1000 lbs is it). In our case we also have an AWD vehicle rated for 3500 lbs (but only tow about 1/2 that in winter hauling snowmobiles) Good luck.
