OK-- this might sound like some of those weird posts about cancer from the batteries but I had never thought to consider this particular question/problem when we were thinking about getting the TCH--- we had to take our min. schnauzer to the kennel for overnight stay yesterday morning--took her in my husband's Tahoe. She seemed normal. She whines pretty hard at times if she needs to stop for potty break but is not really nervous until she sees home and gets excited...she is not in a carrier--just on the back seat. This morning I picked up her in our 09 TCH which she had not ridden in before--I made her go potty for both needs before getting in the car-- but she started whining and getting so worked up that I had to stop before 10 min passed and walk her around again--she did not use bathroom and seemed fine outside the car... put her back in. And the excessive whining did start up again in the 10-15 min before we got home. I don't think it was ONLY when the EM was kicking in but the car was doing all three--the ICE, the BATT and then both together--and when batt was charging-- I hear the whine when I brake and the car is coming to full stop but is there any chance that there is electrical whine in higher register that would bother a dog or cat's broader audio sensitivity? |
