I think my dealership will do a good job on informing me about the Prius, as there is a lady that all she does is inform the prius buyers.I sure hope so. The only concerns I have are the tires and wind shere, kdhspyder should these be big concerns? Will be getting back to you when my new car arrives.

Excellent. I am sure you hope tomorrow is Thursday. Called my dealer last Friday and was told that mine got delayed three more weeks. Please report back how you like yours.. but again, I might know the answer already.
I nornally drive between 75 - 80 mph on the freeway, I wonder how does that affect the mileage? Enjoy your new toy.

The tires are no biggie issue. They are the Goodyear Integrity's which are just run-of-the-mill midsize/compact tires. Nothing special nothing horrible. Mine lasted exactly 50000 miles with no issues. Replaced with the next level up Goodyear Comforttreads. I expect these to last 80000 mi.
Wind buffetting is only really noticeable in that it's there. It doesn't affect the driving at all.

Kd I got the Prius on thursday may 29,2008. It is one great car.We have about 300 miles on it and are getting 49.6 miles per gallon. Really like not using a key, the climate control system is outstanding, it also has a very good stereo system. Also the Prius really surprised me with its power on the interstate, and the smoothness of the transmission. It handles real well. The only trouble i am having is getting it away from my wife to drive. Will keep you up dated and informed of any questions.

At this point , We are number eleven on the list for possible delivery in september.
(Do salesmen ever stretch the facts on these statements?
I wish I could find out from some one of knowledge and authority just when the 2009 models will be avail.

You guys can keep your hybrids and tofu. Give me a Chevrolet, and I'll dust ALL your hybrids.

"You guys can keep your hybrids and tofu. Give me a Chevrolet, and I'll dust ALL your hybrids. "
I have a better proposal. We will give your Chevy and the Hybrid 10 gallons of gas, and see who goes the farthest. Who do you think would win that one?
Oh, and what would happen if it was a Chevy hybrid? It is enough to make your eyes cross...
Last one. Would you use a feather duster, or a rag to dust off the hybrid?

Sorry, your Aveo is smaller, weaker and uses too much fuel. That was a bad choice about mentioning Chevys
