Hi there,I'm a brand new member to this forum. I've driven a Ford Explorer since 1991. I just traded in my latest Explorer for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L with a Hemi (39,000 miles on it). Are there any problems that I should be aware of or look for? Is this a good SUV? I welcome all comments. Thank you.

I am not the owner of your exact vehicle, but have a V6 2005 GC and a 2006 chrysler 300C with your engine. Both of mine and yours have the same transmission: If it leaks it is from a faulty "O" ring on the 13 pin plug that fits in the transmission. It takes a dealer tech about 10 minutes to replace it. Both of mine have leaked, but not since the repair.I think you will like your Jeep, like a Bentley compared to a 1991 Explorer!
