You're right, of course. Though I was basically only thinking about "real cars" - cars that I wouldn't be afraid of parking at the mall for a couple of hours or commuting to the city in.

"I can't think of any coupes that don't have a B Pillar."

Well, there is the current-gen MB CLK...

Elegant coupe, but does not "do it" for me as much as the 1st-gen, which I owned. When I 1st saw that lipstick-red CLK430 at the Atlanta Auto Show, I HAD to have one (in black, though).

BMW 335 Coupe is a splendid piece as performance coupes go, but they do have a B-pillar. Can live with it given the performance from the TT I6 and good chassis balance.

This article seems to difinitively demonstrate that, performance wise, the 135i renders the 335i superfluous.
To me this is disturbing and dissappointing given I've been planning to get the 335i for some time now. Why would BMW introduce an ugly smaller sibling version of the 335i that actually out performs the 335i in nearly every metric. WTF is BMW thinking? So folks with minimal sense of taste, will be forced to pay more for less performance (and fuel economy) purely for the sake of aesthetics?? Brilliant! Talk about a buyers remorse scenerio a priori. Thanks alot BMW.

Vexed!

Just like the 335i made the 650i superfluous?

Fit some 22" chrome wheels and you'll forget all about the 335i.
