Back in march I was ready to get a 2lt from the local dealer. was told they would be in by the end of the month, ok i thought . end of month came and went , I had told the salesperson that i needed the car by the end of march. on APRIL 14 i recieved a call that the cars were fianlly here. GUESS WHO DID NOT GET A CHEVY! THEN I READ THAT GM SALES FOR FIRST QUATER DOWN 19% GEE I WONDER WHY? I VERY MUCH AM ENJOYING MY HONDA ACCORD COME ON CHEVY IF YOU WANTED TO SELL YOUR CAR SO BAD DONT DROP THE BALL! YOU REALLY HAVE A NICE CONCEPT IN THE MALIBU BUT YOUR SALES PEOPLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP NEED TO SELL. DID I FAIL TO MENTION THAT I HAD SEEN THIS SAME DEALER 3 TIMES FROM THE BEGINNING OF FEB UNTIL MID MARCH, KIND OF LOOKS LIKE I WAS READY TO BUY.

Replying to: johnboy12 (Apr 26, 2008 4:06 am) they can place a specific customer order against that dealership allocation or they can simply order cars for stock from that allocation..also remember each dealership is an independent franchise.....not GM owned... if you are really interested..go in and ask what their allocations are for the malibu, what models are they generally ordering...and how many do they expect for the rest of the model year...I beleive this past Fri was the last day to order an 08 model to be built..... |
