sthom1 did that to me last month. gaining over 150% last 2-3 days and actually scared me and made me to stay up at night to monitor the prices on the final day..
 
anyways.. it seems like there are clear winners and losers on today's IPO.. I think IPO favors faster networking and computer powerhouse people.. lol.. therefore rich people gets richer with these cool prizes..
There was a study done that physical location matters for the actual data packet to travel on the internet. The guy at Santa Monita (where the edmunds server is) has about 1 second favorability compared to the New York guy during IPO because he is physically closer to the Edmunds server.. which makes a huge difference... btw I live in Illinois and was never able to be the first one to buy any IPO... Where do you guys live?

I just noticed shin107 took the same bath I did. Funny thing is, if I had disregarded the IPO completely, I'd have been better off. I've gotta remember to not hit the browser 'repost form data' button when I have a stalled transaction.

I should change my cable service.
I'm in midwest also maybe this could be a problem?
I have brand new desktop and used 2 other computers for today's ipo.
And I got screwed. lol
The price was frozen at $10 for me and I paid $57 at the end for this ugly vwcc.

I was pretty pretty annoyed with myself. I worked my butt off doing damage control until I had to go to a meeting. Would have been nice if it were actually profit instead of catch up. I believe sthom1 had the same problem with the last IPO. I might even give up trying to get the first bite and pick it up a few more ticks into the cycle. Probably won't make as much, but I won't lose half a mil in one trade either.

yup.. I made 80% last night and went to bed. but now what.. I spent whole day to catch it up back. It is just luck,, I believe so.
And go to bed man. lol
I can't stare my monitor any more.
