It seems to me like everyone's shorting on everything, lately. I saw my 7-day % go up the most it has since day one, and yet my overall position has dropped a spot!Mike, do you have general stats on holdings? I'm curious to know how many of them are shorts and how many are outright purchases.

Not everyone is shorting. It depends on the stock in question -- I have seen several go up over the last week or so. So much of this activity is calculated short-term strategies at play. The market overall has been down in recent weeks, but there is still enough inactivity from dormant players and day-trading to keep things stable.
