I had the same problem. 42,000 miles on an 07 Torrent. The dealer tells me he's never heard of a problem and they know nothing.

I had this problem on my '07 35,000 kms just about a month ago. Torrent drove fine, just had the light on for a few days until it was cleared. Dealership cleared the error, then applied a firmware update to the stabilitack module. They then had to re-calibrate all of my wheel sensors.
