Alone, I guess it's not so bad looking, just kinda' dull,
But sit this vehicle next to something like a Buick Enclave, and there's no comparison. Inside or out.

The features mentioned on Honda's website indicate that a lot of them were taken from the MDX. You can see similarities of the navigation screen, the layout of the climate control - even color moods, the way the map lights are established as well as the menu button with scroll option is very much like the Acura MDX. The instrument panel also looks like it was taken from the MDX. Even the features such as bluetooth, rearview camera. The placement of the speakers are again very MDX like.

Is it how Honda wants their vehicles to be ? Alienating Acura's customers by building something similar but at a relatively lower price point ?

If Honda wants to establish their Acura brand as a "luxury" brand, then they should have more distinction with the two brands.

This is what I fear when you buy an Acura or a Lexus, not enough distinction on the vehicles & they charge a premium for their brands. It is a classic way of rebadging a vehicle, although it is much worse, they charge you more for a rebadge vehicle.

Just sharing my opinion

#7 of 54 Is this a Honda or a Hummer/Nissan hybrid? by icecubefosho

The rear is undoubtedly inspired by the Pathfinder and Armada platform, while the front reminds me of a hummer or like a much more modern Lamborghini LM002 front.

Still looks better than the current bland Pilot, but could've had alot more originality in it.

I am not a fan of American cars but I have to disagree with your comment on the Buick Enclave. The Buick has a much nicer and modern appeal than the box presented by Honda.

I agree with you, pilot's styling is not comparable to enclave's. BTW, i think morey likes enclave.

Wow!!! Honda should stick to bland styling because this thing is uglier than Courtney Love after an all-nighter :-o Not one good angle on the whole mess. I was considering the Pilot last year when I heard they were restyling it. I was hoping for something visually similar the CRV which I think they did pretty well. They pushed out the Pilot restyle a year so I bought an Enclave, which I love and which looks 1000% better than this Pilot. Sorry Honda, better luck next time.

I thought I was done posting here but then I looked at ALL the pictures---oh my god the dash is even more of an abomination than the exterior-the tonka toy/ 80's ghetto blaster look is awesome and no need to mention the partially aroused shifter where no shifter has ever been before---fabulous---Is Honda recruiting retired AMC designers now???
