How can I temporarily remove second row seats? User Guide says they are not removable. I want to move a small spinet piano from NY to GA. this summer w/out using a trailer. Has anyone done this?

I realize that you've probably already moved the Spinet Piano and figured how to remove your van's seats; but as a (PTG) Registered Piano Technician I'd like to say that even an acoustic spinet is heavy enough to warrant moving the piano (securely strapped down) in a small trailer or a different vehicle...not inside a mini-van, especially if one values the van's interior. Most spinets weigh at least 580 pounds when assembled with the cast iron plate, wooden back, strings and action. Most piano tuners have confronted a road-kill or rope-burned piano that was crammed into a van or without adequate tie downs....it's not a pretty sight.
