The original basic warranty is 5 years/60K miles and the power-train is 10 years/100K miles for the original owner only. The power-train warranty reverts to 5 years/60K miles from the original purchase date for any subsequent owner. It's still a great warranty; some manufacturer's don't allow the transfer of the original warranty at all.

I just bought a 2007 Buick LaCross CX with 15800 miles, is the balance of the factory warranty automatically transfer. Is there any documentation to provide the dealer, to make it so.
