I short sold 4,004 shares of the Acura RL at $65.98. Now the stock is worth $40.13. Why am I seeing a loss of $24,464.44?
This isn't right .. is it?

you probably shorted at 34.02 and the stock went up to 40. read about the inverse function of shorting on csx.
100 - 65.98 = 34.02 (inverse)
34.02 - 40.13 = -6.11 (net change per share)
-6.11 x 4,004 = -24,464.44 (net losses)

Ah, thanks Mike. Now it makes sense. I didn't realize that the prices were listed as inverses in the transaction listings.
Is there a way I can send you a private message Mike?
