Congratulations to one and all for helping overload our servers today.

I know some of you are understandably upset about this morning's IPO "madness" (thought I would tie that in with the theme of March College Basketball), but we had a post mortem about the situation and are working diligently to improve the experience for everyone next week, when we once again IPO at least one new vehicle.

The amount of activity in the game at IPO time has far exceeded our expectations, so we'll have to upgrade our server capacity over the next few days to make way for all trading that could take place on any Tuesday morning. We are elated that so many of you are engaged in the game action and in this Community, in spite of some challenges with the beta version of the game.

We apologize again for some of the data problems we've had (Volume, Stock price resets) and for the registration/trading problems this morning.

Thanks,

Mike

I bought 2,000 shares of the Aveo and 5,000 shares of the Tiguan and none are showing in my portfolio. I did this at about 10:10am PT. What gives?

This happened to alot of people yesterday and I don't think it can be fixed. It sucks. We should create some stickys to answer comonly asked questions. Doctorlove?

The links were working on the site, but because the servers were overloaded, the trades did not actually go through. Other than registration problems, this was the most frustrating (and necessary to fix) issue from yesterday.

The trades were not registered in our database and we can't go back and verify any trade action as a result -- so for that period, the activity is lost.
