Every time you trade now, you run a risk of losing lots of money. Last Tuesday and Wednesday after IPO issuance cost me 4 million - do not repeat the same mistake.

I think this is very sensible. I'm not happy that this has been the situation with today's IPOs, but you have a point.
However, traffic is not as insane as it was earlier, so it should be increasingly easy to transact, etc.

Great idea. I am $66,000 in the hole. This is so much fun...

Me too, bjcarm. As with many other users.
But let's keep things in perspective here:
1. Yes, the game has been buggy -- way too buggy so far, but it's week 3 since our launch and we're still figuring out how all of you use the game and the internal tools
2. Even if we all experience errors right now, there are no additional prizes (other than bragging rights, of course, which is important) for overall net worth. Even if you and I have endured some problems this month, the game will go on and continue to evolve and allow all of us to participate and refine our results -- and be eligible for future prizes and perks as those go online.
3. I don't mean to trivialize game play -- because I want it to work! But you are not out any real money and you will still be able to play even with today's issues.

That argument is logical but people get emotional when participating in a competition (Especially when you have to sneak around at work to play).

Indeed, supra4. I with you 100% on the emotional power of games like this.
And don't think we don't love you "power" players who continue to contribute to the game and the community -- even when we have to answer understandable criticisms based on performance issues.

I am not sure I agree with point number 2...
Since there is a prize on the line, those who traded succesfully at the lower prices today will have the advantage over those who didn't for this month's ranking.
So, yeah, the game will go on but I don't think I like the sound of "well, none of this really matters anyway".
