#1 of 4 Paradox of traders' psychic or game limitations

Is it me or it is actually easier to make money several days after IPO issuance?
I have been unsuccessful at buying in on new stocks at those yummy introduction prices and lost millions trying to make up for it later on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I stuck to the same strategy that made me $CSX money before but every trade seemed to cut chunks out of my Net Worth.
In contrast, I sat down Thursday and Friday evenings and managed to succeed using the same exact strategy.
I only see two possible reasons here:
1. Due to the frenzy of new IPOs people tend to try trading faster sometimes at the cost of accurately verifying the confirmation screen. Attempts to catch up with those scoring big from early IPO buy ins pushes users to make rash decisions and thus lose cash. Simultaneously, the market becomes impossible to predict thus failing any otherwise successful system.
2. The system yields more errors at peak times, specifically within one or two days from IPO issuance. Perhaps, because the server gets overloaded or any other technical reason. Regardless, these errors result in miscalculations nullifying traders' attempts increase their net worth.
So, which one do you guys think it is? And, in the spirit, of improving the CSX experience, how do you suggest it is fixed?

We do have plans to improve the Trade Confirmation page, because we do think it would help players who need to see at what prices their trades actually went through versus what the estimated cost was before they went through with the trade. With high volume comes more fluctuation, so some players may have gotten caught up in the frenzy and lost or gained more than they thought they would.
Also, there were some server-side issues on the day of the IPO issuance, but we've looked deeper into that and will work to improve that experience going forward.
We will continue to monitor activity during and after new public offerings -- including observing messages on these forum pages -- so that we can continue to improve game play experience.
Thanks for your thoughts,
CSX Game Supervisor

Do you think CSX would improve at all if Edmunds.com simply let you guys get some sleep? It's got to be around 4am in California.

It was actually only around midnight when I submitted my response -- so that's not too bad!
