Also when I want to buy share XYZ at the listed price per share, and type in the amount of shares I wanna buy, on the next screen it changes the original list price to the estimated price per share. That becomes the price I actually per share. WTF!!! This price, I'm assuming could either be higher or lower then the list price (so far it's been higher for me), but it seems unfair. Why am I paying a different amount per share than what is listed???

Mike, would it be possible to tell us briefly how the stock price are calculated (high level I guess)? In other word, what influence the stock price? Number of players? Number of stock/short position players have? volume traded? It seems like the stock price has more volatility after many high wealth player can't no longer trade. This seems weird because I previously thought it was high wealth traders who were moving the stock price with high volatility. Thanks,

Replying to: chung (Apr 04, 2008 10:07 am) For example, for every 2,000 shares that move in one direction, a stock may increase by $0.46/share (just a theoretical example). We have adjusted that over time to make the movement a little less volatile, and we may revisit it so that stocks do not jump so dramatically with each batch trade, etc. Does this makes sense? Cheers, Mike CSX Game Supervisor
