OK, my 2006 has had one power window fixed, and now number two is going out. A crack is running through the right corner of the windshield, yes, probably not their fault but thought I would mention it. The seats of course are stained, but the dealership said it is due to rain and pollution and refuses to aknowledge that people all over the web have had problems. Any suggestions on getting the repairs done, and letting them know I am not happy?

Replying to: emmab (Mar 12, 2008 11:03 am) I had the same problem with my Libby. The seats, regardless of what you do are going to stain. No matter what. You can clean it off with Oxy Clean, and water, but other than that, the dealers are going to do absolutely nothing about this problem. I recommend that you go to your local Walmart or Auto Store and buy some seat covers; make sure they fit your seats before you purchase them. As far as the front window goes if it still under warranty, then MAKE them fix it. Reluctantly, they might. And for the power window, same for that. If it still under warranty, then the dealer should fix it. If they say that they can't, you have to stand your ground, and if they still say no, then I would go in there to the manager, and raise all the hell I could to make them fix it, and don't leave the shop until they DO. If they still say no, which is what they did in my case, you have to them bring in the law, and what rights you have. They can't say no to the law. GOOD LUCK! |
