hmmmm... OK. But where is that info posted on the CSX page?
I'm pretty confident ALOT of people playing the game are not reading these forums.

The forecast sales on CSX are for six months, correct??

That's correct. So we'll get each month's data and then we'll finalize everything after each vehicle has been in the U.S. marketplace for 180 days (6 months).
The IPO prices are based on 6-month projections. (with CSX $1 in stock price - 1,000 unit sold).

This is saying that with the Murano selling 10,074 in Feb, it has reached almost a 3rd of it's forecast of 33,750? Also, do Feb monthly sales count towards the settlement price if the release date is the end of Feb (2/27/2008)?
#9 of 12 Confused about forecast
Mar 15, 2008 (9:03 am)
I am new to the game, and must be missing something really obvious. How does the forecast column square with the stock price. The asterisked definition of forecast says it is 1000 times the price. For Corolla this would be 568,000 units. But the forecast column has 137,250. Can anyone help?

The stock prices are heavily inflated right now. I would recommend shorting stock rather than buying it. This drives down the price to more reasonable levels. There's another post that discusses shorting in depth.

Read today's CSX Blog: http://blogs.edmunds.com/csx/ for now. There is a link there for March Sales projections (near the bottom of today's post).
