Let me ask a basic question: those were shorts and not sell transactions?
I only ask because in the past we had some display issues where sells were showing up as shorts or covers.

They were sell transactions....Maybe I was a part of the display issue!

That is possible. We'll check it out.

I can't even take my cash on hand and buy any stock any more. I can't make buys. I fill out the number of stocks wanted, choose either buy or max buy, and the screen just goes right back.
Ya got a good idea here but lot's of bugs to work out.

ds: we've had some problems with I.E. 7 -- are you using that browser? Are you using a Mac or PC? Vista or XP?
Just trying to pinpoint the problem here.
Try logging in with Firefox too and see if that works.

FWIW, sometimes when I'm on the trade confirmation page, I'll hit the back button to change the amount of shares. Most of the time it will just go back to the transaction page and I can enter a new number.
Other times (maybe 5-10 percent of the time) my browser prompts me to resubmit form data when I hit the back button. If I allow it, I end up back at the transaction page. If I cancel the resubmit, it leaves me at the confirmation page.
It's not really a problem, it's just a different behavior that seems random.

What you said in message 34 is not what is happening. As per message 33, I don't know anything about a I.E. 7. I have a PC with XP. Still can't buy.

OK, for some reason it took......I don't think I did anything different at all.

Some players have reported that this error occurs inconsistently, so if it happens again just let me know.
