Did you sell the amount of stocks you had purchased -- did that match up?   What are all of the transactions listed there for the Corolla? Nevermind the dollar amount associated with each transaction, what were the number of stocks of each transaction in that list?   That might help me pinpoint the issue.   Thanks,   CSX Game Supervisor

Like 2 days ago when I started this game most of the cars were high and I bought alot of cars and was making money. The original plan was to release one new vehicle per week as an IPO (Initial Public Offering), but we may up that to add more variety to the game.   Stay tuned for more details about that. All,   Our developers looked into the errors CSX participants were experiencing with the selling and shorting of stocks. Please check your math on shorting stocks. I posted on the "CSX Errors" message with details of a short/cover that should have made money and I ended up losing money. Details are on the other message (sorry for the cross-post).   Thanks for the help.

I've chosen to both buy stock and short sell stock in two vehicles. Only my shorts are listed in my portfolio - now that I want to sell my stock in those vehicles I'm unable to. Replies to this message: xed (Feb 28, 2008 2:19 pm)

Replying to: nderwater (Feb 28, 2008 1:59 pm) If your portfolio contains only shorts, you can get rid of those by buying the same number of shares as what you've shorted. This is called "covering" and is how you get rid of a shorted position.

That data will revert to its proper form in about 15 minutes.   We had to push a few fixes for the game and the data will just look a little weird for a bit before it all refreshes by 11:30 - 11:45pm Pacific Time.   Thanks,   Mike CSX Game Supervisor
