OK, something is definitely wrong here. My last 3 shorts are listed as "Sell," even though I didn't previously own any of the stocks. Further, the "Price" column in my Transaction List lists the actual value of the stock, not the inversion. When I go to cover them, the inverted value is listed. It's like the whole operation is backwards.

I saw that on one of mine too. Took a loss. I also want to know why when I cover shorts, I seem to trade the shares at the price I've just changed while I make the transaction. Example. I covered 6000 shares of G8. The stock price was 56.92 before the trade. After my transaction, I verified the inverse cost of my covered shares was 57.57. I realize my activity changes the price of the stock, but why is this calculated as part of my trade and not after? Every time I take profit, it drops my net worth. If the profit from the short is small enough, this change turns it into a loss. It appears to be a hidden transaction cost that bites harder with larger volume trades.

One change we will make is to show the actual value of the transaction (not anticipated value) on the Trade Confirm page. We are developing this to make it clearer what the transaction will be before you say, "Confirm."
This will go live in May (sorry it will be less than ideal until then).

I thought it was just a problem with my computer at work but I can't login from home either.
I have no problem getting onto carspace or the forums but I can't get into CSX anymore.
