Does anyone know how DDL can be added to the 2006 Pilot? I understand this is a standard feature for the Canadian version, but my local dealer was less than helpfull in finding out how a US version could be modified. Automatic lights would be nice too because the lighted instruments on the dashboard can trick you into driving at night with no lights.

Yes you can add an after market DDL to your 06 Pilot. You can buy a Daytime running light system kit in Canada in a shop called "Canadian Tire". This kit used to cost around $Cnd 35.00. It comes with installation instructions. The installation is not that difficult, I think a person with moderate technical knowledge can istall it.
