#1 of 3 option-set same if Freightliner or Dodge?

Apparently there is only one assembly (i guess that should be
re-assembly) plant for Sprinters, just outside of Charleston SC,
but it seems that daimlerchrysler sells
the Sprinter as a Freightliner AND
as a Dodge.
Looking at those two websites, the
configurations-available/options-available sets
do not appear to be identical. For example, as
sold through Freightliner,
there is no mention of a "cold climate package" in
the website
Is that correct ?
I am thinking to buy a 2008 Sprinter. I'm leaning towards getting it through the
Freightliner dealer, just on the assumption that a commercial-truck joint will
have better mechanics and less BS'y salespeople.

Daimler/Chrysler is no longer in charge of Dodge... it was sold.
I think Freightliner still is since Daimler/Benz wants to continue to be the largest truck manufacturer in the world.
There would be all the same options at Freightliner, but they might not be called the same thing... cold climate is a specialty of the Sprinter... Aux. Heaters(air & water)/heater timers/block heater/insulation package/at-rest heat scavenging.
All dealers (that have Sprinter sales) should have a qualified mechanic, but this is still spotty. Many dealers seem to have one, who may still be training or is a single point of failure in the process of repair... If he's on vacation you can't get a repair, diagnosis, or straight answer.
I am just guessing, but it appears that the Sprinter tech is most likely working on other models, and only concentrates on Sprinters AFTER he is done with other assignments... that may have changed now that many more Sprinters are wracking up the miles here in the US.
Thanks,
KenB

Freightliner and Dodge Sprinters are identical except for the grille, and other badging or identification.
