the way I understand it, is that the airbag is "off" until the seatbelt is fastened. Some '07 Equinoxs had a recall for this because it wasn't working correctly. The weight limit is to protect children.

on my 2002 bmw 330 i the side airbag indicator and the ans and brake lights stay on my brakes are fine- « Previous
