A life direction change and need to sell 2007 Black Raven CTS with luxury and sport packages and special ordered grill and spoiler, 2600 miles. Will be clobbered in a dealer trade, so where are the best places to advertise a car like this? Regret having to sell as get lots of compliments on it, but need a towing/suv vehicle now . Conventional wisdom is that your best sales price will come from an individual. However, guard your personal safety when offering to meet strangers and let them drive your expensive car. A man in my city was murdered by someone who came over to look at a luxury car he was selling.   Are there physical or electronic bulletin boards for employees where you work, go to church, etc? Advertising it to a more select group would reduce your chances of getting calls from dodgy people. Others here might have suggestions as to how to protect yourself when advertising to the general public.   This board itself probably has options for advertising cars. Probably a better audience for advertising an upscale car than Craigslist.
