Looks like a TC problem. After highway driving, slow hard turns (Parking) makes a thumping sound. On a quadratrac II (249 case) whould the fron wheels spin freely when one is off the ground. Even with TC in N they still don't spin freely. Would that be abnormal?

No sure. Just got it two weeks ago. Pulled the plug and it looks new. (ie: not dirty at all, very clean). I'm thinking of installing a 242 TC in place of the 249. 50 bucks from the yard.
