Must work for BMW. So you are esf. The Luxury Lounge though is not that much better. I used post there, but the anti-Audi ignorance is a bit much and backwards. I've seen your posts there and they are very good. Americans have a long way to go to appreciate the true substance and luxury that Audi represents, a brand now that is 110 year old almost. Yes, the RS6 is amazing! I have a deposit on one (sedan hopefully) if it makes it stateswide. It seems as if he had a bad experience with an Audi (his ex-girlfriend drives one?) and constantly hates on them for that reason. The Luxury Lounge is actually MUCH better if you haven't been there lately. There's one guy who thinks the A8's interior looks like the Lincoln Town Car's, but otherwise, most of them are big Audi supporters. I'm also a fairly avid BMW guy, but Audi will always be my #1 choice. It's easy to love them both, because they're both very different and yet very similar. I have a deposit on one (sedan hopefully) if it makes it stateswide. I hear AoA is seriously considering bringing the Sedan here due to the buzz and uproar from Audi enthusiasts. I want the Avant though! I don't think there's any question--the sedan is coming, period. I'm thinking of putting a deposit down myself. ...But I want the Avant, too. The A6 Avant is so much sexier than the sedan. When it all comes down to it, though, I can't say I would be unhappy driving an Audi RS6 sedan. As a proud Audi owner myself I am highly disappointed in what Audi has done to the S6, RS6 and even the S8. When I heard Audi was putting V10 engines in these automobiles I was highly excited. I thought to myself here is Audi's chance to really dethrone Mercedes E63 and BMWs M5. Then when I found out it was the V10 engine from the Lamborghini Gallardo (which Audi aquired Lamborghini) I was highly disappointed. Not to say it is a bad engine but it is not GERMAN. I thought surely since Porsche owns 50% of VW and so on that Audi would seek out Porsche on aquiring their V10 engine produced for the Carrera GT. This is a motor that puts out 604 bhp and it is a GERMAN built motor. Audi could have revamped and detuned the motor to put out 500 or 500+ bhp for the S6 and possibly 550 bhp or more for the RS6 and S8. Furthermore, Audi could have easily dethroned Mercedes and BMW in the German Super Sedan War. To me theses automobiles are not true German sedans anymore since they have an engine from an italian automaker. To take the V10 from the Gallardo and put dual turbochargers on it and install it in an RS6 makes me wonder about what is true GERMAN engineering? It is bad enough that the V10 engine alone assumes a great amount of petrol as it does and it still does not outperform the Mercedes V8 and the BMWs V10. Now with turbos added to the motor, gas mileage is really going to get considerably worse. I was thinking about purchasing one of these vehicles but needless to say I am not going to. I guess I will have to consider purchasing an E63 or M5. I guess that is why Audi will always come in third.
