Replying to: art234 (Jun 22, 2009 12:33 pm) Well, the $16k auction price was the lowest when back in Nov. '08 and now, the average auction price is around $23 - 24k for a well equipped M45. If you go on autotrader.com, it is very rare that you can find one on sale for less than $26k that is in decent shape with 40k miles.   The used car market is picking up and one of my friend was trying to get a '06 M45 for $25k and the only one he can find within 100 miles has 68k miles on it. So, I believe it worth $27k if you have kept the maintenance on the car, knowing it has been taken care of and you like the car.

Mine was an M35x not an M45, and while prices may be up, they will be offset shortly by a glut of these cars coming onto the market. No way they will EVER be worth $27K.   That said, mine was maintained immaculately, but still has powertrain and vibration issues which remain unresolved to this day. Furthermore Nissan/Infiniti renegged on a compensation offer, which is now being handled by my attorney (I am NOT letting them get away with not reimbursing me $1300).   At the end of the day, Infiniti has lost a customer for good, and I am going out of my way to let people know that they are 1. incompetent at repair and 2. they are dishonorable.   I just can't wait for my Audi.......
