#61 of 69 2006 C-280 Cell Phone HELP
Feb 01, 2011 (8:13 pm)
I just purchased a 2006 C-280 with a radio that has NAV, CD, SAT and Phone features. Could someone please let me know how I can use the phone function. I have a iPhone and a Droid cell phone. If these will not work with this system please let me know which phone I would need so I can use this feature. In my state (CT) I need a hands free setup to use in the car and this would be a really nice setup to use. Thank you in Advance

I'd like to know if MB Tex breathes well like real leather. My first car had vinyl seat. If i sit on it long, my bottom will sweat. Dealer says it lasts longer than leather, very easy to clean. Sounds like it is better than leather in general.
#64 of 69 INOPERATIVE WINDOWS
Apr 20, 2011 (2:22 pm)
I recently connected a trailer to the car (1997 C-280) but had the connector mis-aligned. The result was that now my windows and sunroof no longer work. My non-authorized MB mechanic worked on it for 2 days and couldn't find the problem. He feels it is in the trunk where a relay supplies power to 2 or 3 relays. Anyone ever had such a problem? If so suggestion of where to look would be appreciated.

I have the MB Tex and it is just fine - Wife has an RX350 with leather and would judge both seats to be fine - I don't sweat more in one or the other.
My first car as a kid was a 66 bug with vinyl - and believe me I know what you are talking about!
I like the Auto setting on the MB climate control better that the Lexus as well, MB keeps the temp where I like it (68 degrees) without blasting me with cold air - I suppose that helps as well.

Does anyone know what extended warranties are going for in California? Are they necessary, etc? I have a 2008 C 350.
