Planning on keeping this car if I buy it for a good while (5+ years), so out of curiosity, has anybody had any success putting in a booster seat in the 3rd row? Thanks for any help.

Replying to: upstatedoc (May 22, 2008 12:44 pm) Not sure if you are aware, but you can adjust the brightness of the camera. While in reverse, turn the main dial clock wise. Replying to: mphillips21 (May 30, 2008 4:50 pm) Let's see -- Five Stars on all NHTSA tests -- AOL give it all stars in like 20 categories.   You would really have to try to have to try to get the thing do something other than you intended with the great handling, brakes, etc. and even then there is an airbag for every cubic inch or the interior.   I researched it before I bought and couldn't find another vehicle at any price that was safer.   After my answer, a question -- It seems common knowledge that the MDX is very safe. Why do you ask?

Replying to: hpowders (Apr 17, 2008 4:51 pm) Yes. Unfortunately, I have that issue too. The problem is that a short test drive would not reveal there's an issue. It took me about a 1/2 hour to notice this but this is when I already had purchased the vehicle. This also makes my hip (has arthritis) worse. I hope that footrest can be removed.   By-the-way, I'm 6' 2" if it makes a difference.   I have tried several different seating positions and it doesn't help.
