i have really screwed up!!! while testing for my back-up light wire and my parking brake wire in the harness by the drivers left foot behind the kick panel in the bunch of wires in the plastic cover harness to help install my nav. system,i probed each wire with my test light. on a few wires the test light lit up dimly and on the first wire that lit dimly i heard a click noise under the dash. not the door, but the dash. well ,even the door ,but i know what i did there. but after the click noise ,the srs light is on and the abs light is on. but after driving the car the abs light turned off. the srs light is still on. i checked all the fuses and they test good BUT the srs fuse has no power on it.this is the fuse panel in the dash. the fuse panel under the hood is fine. what can i do to fix this my self. i do not want to go to the dealership.even though i screwed it up i am more that capable to fix it. i just need to know where to start and what to test.

A) Get Helm's Manual so you are not probing wires with a test light next time.

B) Using the Helm's Manual's procedure test all of the SRS components.

C) You are lucky the airbag did not go off and exploded in your face.

D) Get Helm's Manual. $70 well spent.
