Gentlemen, I just obtained (for free) a well preserved '89 dakota with a v-6 engine and auto tranny. The engine has a horrible knock and I plan on replacing it. I am sure there are other Chrysler products out there with the same engine(s) that will work in my Dakota. I just don't know which ones. Can someone please list some of the other cars/trucks that shared engines with my Dakota. Thanks for the input.

I have a 93-95 Dakota with a 2.5 liter 4 cyl., a manual 4 speed with od tranny. What all do I need to replace it with a 3.9 v6 and same tranny?PLEASE HELP!!!!
