I don't think there are going to be any 2009s. Unless they do 2009.5, but I doubt it because I don't think they are ready with the adjustments and there are still lots of '08s on the lots to clear out. I heard that the next out will be the 2010s, which will have the reworked back seats to add some legroom. I think it'll have the Euro spec engine also, but am not positive. I wouldn't count on huge discounting on those. For the ATL person, the best deals seem to come after the person requested quotes online (you can do this through this site by pricing out a car) and dealt with the online departments to get prices from a host of dealers.

My price was $7.00 over invoice, less the rebates ($5,500). I wasn't a current owner so I couldn't get the $2,000, if such an incentive existed. I love the car. Put the 2,000th mile on it today.

I am planning to buy a EX35 Journey RWD in SoCal area. Does anybody here wanna to share their negotiation experiences particularly in this area? Like which dealer may have better bargaining room and good attitude? I was trying to follow the posting thread, but it seems like the final price can be off the MSRP from 15% to 5%. It really makes me hard to decide the bottom price. Thank you in advance if you can share your experiences.

Back in May of 2008 I got a very good price offer from Metro Infiniti. Not sure what they offer now but I would try them.

despite the extremely poor sales, the announcement that the car is changing for the 2010 model year and the huge criticisms of this vehicle, i'm really surprised that people haven't been able to get more off sticker with the low APR combination. i've contacted dealers in the PA/CT/NY/NJ area and no one wants to go below $42k for a loaded AWD model. just doesn't seem worth it for that price.

You could probably find a major deal on a used EX with around 5K miles on it. Not sure what "huge criticisms" means. The only big complaint has been about back seat room, wanting/needing more. I am on my 2nd year with a loaded 2WD and I have grown to really like this car.

Have had my RWD EX for one year now and am very pleased. Have taken many road trips and live in Los Angeles, so it has made driving in some of the worst traffic and freeways not only bearably, but fun and easy. Last week my steering wheel stuck in the up/down position, so I went to the Santa Monica service center to find it closed. They sent me to the Nissan center and they told me I'd have to go to a dealer to get it fixed, that there is a recall on the steering wheel adjustment motor and the gas pump. I made an appt. for the next day at said dealership in Van Nuys, and they were not able to take care of it as they had to order the parts. Seems their communications and their customer service leave a great deal to be desired. This is my first disappointment with the car, and it's not the car, but the privately owned dealership. I filed a complaint with the Infiniti Consumer Center. The car is great, and because I'm a medium sized woman it fits me well. I regret that I have not had the time nor inclination to learn all the technological wonders, so am limited in using the navigation, which is a Godsend, and some of the other features. I love the cameras and back up warnings, the sonar, the push button ignition, the keyless entry. The size is perfect. Can fit lots inside, but it parks in small places. The engine really performs and picks up quickly to pass a slow car, yet hums along nicely at any speed, and is so quiet! I got my car for 4k under MRSP by taking a lot of time to find a dealer who would deal with me. It would seem that now one would be able to get up to 10k off if you put the time into it and learn how to make that deal and find the person to do it with. Good luck!

Are you referring to 2008 or 2010 model? 2008 you can get for $10k below MSRP in Ray catena infiniti of edison, NJ.

Hi Orchidgal, I remember you! you bought for about 4,000 under invoice not MSRP. You did great on the price of that car. I got mine for about 7,000 under MSRP in May of 2008 (3500 under invoice) and I also had a problem last week with the steering column. I called the dealer & made an appointment to get it fixed ,my dealer took my car in & gave me a loaner for the day & sent me home that night saying that all the motors for the column were out of stock so I get to do it all again in a few weeks. Pain in the butt but I LOVE the EX. Drives great!
