A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I purchased an 08 EX-35 Journey AWD with premium/nav/wood/splash guards/cargo protector/destination charge for $34,266 plus TTL. According to Edmunds, this was $262 above invoice ($39,004), less the $5,000 manufacturer to dealer cash which was passed on to us. Don't know whether it was a good or not so good deal, but having bought another car for me a month or so ago I was shopped out. Straightforward give and take negotiation. Great car, no problems for the first 600 miles and averaging 21+ MPG so far.

Has anyone bought an EX recently? How much did you pay? When does will the '09 EX show up at dealers? |

Replying to: adrake (Nov 02, 2008 7:48 pm) I will say I probably could have gotten a few more hundred off if I wanted to drive a little further. I had three dealers and a couple of them were almost pleading with me to "tell them what it would take" to buy the car. I felt I got a fair deal so I'm happy. |

Just got an EX35 Journey AWD in Seattle area. Sharing my price paid with all of you. I managed to knock down $9000 from MSRP. I feel I got a great deal. Options: Roof Rails Prem Pkg Lux Style Pkg NAV Pkg Wood Trim Splash Guard Cargo Area Protector Cross Bar Wheel Lock MSRP: $44,375 Paid: $39,125 out the door (including tax and all the goodies) Please beware that the dealer try to sneak in B&O (Business and Operation) tax and having me pay for this but this is in fact something that the dealer has to pay. If you see this tax added to your price you should ask the dealer to waive it!
