For those who opted for the cash incentive, what was the APR that infiniti offered? The dealer is telling me 5.9% through Infiniti.

depends on your credit. I got 5.99%

I have tier 1 credit and was offered 2.9% and 7,000 off MSRP.

If that's for 5 years, that's really great.
Also, however, it was "offered," and without actually signing the papers, who knows what would have happened. Possibly you would have been told it was a mistake before all was said and done.

I was offered this when I bought the car & the papers were signed in the finance department. On the contract we had the negotiated price for the EX ( 7,000 under MSRP )& then the cash for my trade-in. I had a balance due that I was going to owe the dealership. When I went in to pay for the car, the finance manager asked if I wanted to finance the balance thru Infiniti . I asked what terms he would be willing to give me being that my purchase price on the EX was 3300.00 under their invoice.. He said he could still do 2.9% ;which was the lowest rate they offered at the end of May. I paid in cash but I did buy it that day.

Well, there ya go. Makes sense and probably coincides with the 5.9% deals posted above as I assume they are for 5 years.

The 5.9% I was offered was for a 39 month lease. The current incentives are ending soon. I'm thinking about waiting to see what else comes up from Infiniti in the next couple weeks.
 
Ironically, it's not all about the money; call me strange, but it would really take away from my enjoyment of the car if I found out that I didn't get an excellent deal, especially since the EXs are not selling that well right now.

That's odd. They usually don't refer to a least rate (called "money factor") as an APR.
 
Also, can the $7k off be applied to a lease?
