Just got off the phone with a different dealer, he said they don't have the $2000 discount now. He also told me the finance rate is like 4.9% for 60 months on the EX. I offered 39500 for an invoice 40660/MRSP 44,635 and he wouldn't bite. He said before march 31 he would, but not now. Either procrastination caused me a 2K loss or I just need to be a bit more patient. Do need a car soon though as my old lease is ending. I'm in Jersey so the Dicksmith dealer in SC is too far.

April Deals...or not by waltaz

I just spoke with the sales guy at Pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale who sold me a G35 in Feb. and an EX35 in March, and he said he's not seeing anything yet for April, other than higher finance (loan) rates for purchases.

So I got a call 1 hour after my last post from the same dealer. He will now go $1542 below invoice. The same $2000 discount available in March was posted this afternoon and runs through the end of June.
My new deal is for the EX Journey AWD w/ premium, nav, tech, lux style, wood, roof rails, crossbar, mudflaps, cargo protector.
MRSP 45,675, Invoice 41,542, Sale price 40,000. I was happy with this and thought it was a fair deal. I'll be picking it up in a couple of days.

Lux Elite currently isn't being offered yet, so it looks like I'll be waiting until it does.

Luxe Elite is theoretically offered but EX's equipped with it & sitting on the lots are rare as hen's teeth, at least south of the Canadian border. The only way to be sure to get it (in a preferred color & with the packages you want) seems to be by special order.

It's been the most frustrating experience to find this out. Infiniti shows the Luxe Elite interior in all of its advertising, they gave it to all of the reviewers to review but their actual customers have to give up their first-born sons to get it.

Smacks a little of bait & switch to me. They outfit the car with the upgraded leather & finishing for the press, but it's effectively unavailable to the public.

I need to find a dealer who will do a nationwide search for me. There has to be some Luxe Elites out there somewhere.

I agree with this comment. There were at least a dozen EX 35 on the lot when I purchased mine. None that I looked at had the upgraded Luxe interior. Rather odd I think since dealers love the upgrades, packed with profit. Too bad, I would have bought it. In fact, since I hadn't done my due diligence, I didn't even know the car came with the upgraded leather/trim option (they didn't offer that info). So I "settled" for the ordinary leather interior in the color I wanted (stone). I'm quite pleased with it.

inteller, I have had quite a few salesmen at several different dealerships willing to do that, although it's difficult for them to perform such a search, since Infiniti's archaically designed database is evidently not the most user-friendly to access even for the dealerships. (Apparently, they can't just punch in the specs for a customer & ask it to turn up all vins made to that configuration that are currently available in the US, for example.)

I can't tell you how many time-wasting wild goose chases I went on trying to track down an elusive Luxe Elite model which then turned out 1) not to have it or another essential package I needed after all or 2) was already promised to someone else.

It's not the dealerships' fault either. I've spoken to many salesman who've said this has been very frustrating for them too. Customers come in wanting to see it (after all, virtually all the advertising shows the EX with the seat-back hangar & the luxury stitching), & out of 50 on the lot, they've never had even a single LE to show them. I've been told by more than one dealer that they've never even seen an LE EX35 at all themselves except at their regional training sessions.

I hate to say it, but it does seem like the company only made a few available in the US to send around to shows & farm out to reviewers & sell to a couple of lucky customers just to create a buzz & generate traffic into their showrooms.

Honestly, I don't see how Infiniti thinks it can avoid getting bait & switch complaints pulling this kind of stuff. I'm really ticked off at how much time I wasted trying to get a package that the company said was available to me, but in fact was not.

$2000 incentive by djdez

Since there's STILL no leasing forum for this vehicle (not sure why), can anyone confirm whether or not the $2000 incentive is available on LEASES -- it seems last month it was, but this month it's not ???

It's listed as being an available incentive until June 30, and the way these things are piling up on dealer lots and lease deals as low as $399 are being advertised, you would think the incentive IS available for leases.

According to Edmunds, it says it's not, but being that it's Manufacturer to Dealer cash - they could probably apply it if they wanted to ...

If anyone knows, or has been able to do a deal in April, let me know if they were able to use it - a Lease at $2000 below invoice and attractive money factors would make me consider this as well.

Thanks!

The $2K was only for purchases. I believe it's been extended for April, and actually until June 30. Still only for purchases.

I leased my EX in March, and the incentive for leasing was the wicked money factors and strong residuals. I don't believe those money factors are available any longer in April.
