| I just spoke with the sales guy at Pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale who sold me a G35 in Feb. and an EX35 in March, and he said he's not seeing anything yet for April, other than higher finance (loan) rates for purchases. | |

MRSP 45,675, Invoice 41,542, Sale price 40,000. I was happy with this and thought it was a fair deal. I'll be picking it up in a couple of days. |

Lux Elite currently isn't being offered yet, so it looks like I'll be waiting until it does.

Infiniti shows the Luxe Elite interior in all of its advertising, they gave it to all of the reviewers to review but their actual customers have to give up their first-born sons to get it. Smacks a little of bait & switch to me. They outfit the car with the upgraded leather & finishing for the press, but it's effectively unavailable to the public.

It's not the dealerships' fault either. I've spoken to many salesman who've said this has been very frustrating for them too. Customers come in wanting to see it (after all, virtually all the advertising shows the EX with the seat-back hangar & the luxury stitching), & out of 50 on the lot, they've never had even a single LE to show them. I've been told by more than one dealer that they've never even seen an LE EX35 at all themselves except at their regional training sessions. I hate to say it, but it does seem like the company only made a few available in the US to send around to shows & farm out to reviewers & sell to a couple of lucky customers just to create a buzz & generate traffic into their showrooms. Honestly, I don't see how Infiniti thinks it can avoid getting bait & switch complaints pulling this kind of stuff. I'm really ticked off at how much time I wasted trying to get a package that the company said was available to me, but in fact was not.

Replying to: lexa1 (Apr 08, 2008 9:35 am) It's listed as being an available incentive until June 30, and the way these things are piling up on dealer lots and lease deals as low as $399 are being advertised, you would think the incentive IS available for leases. According to Edmunds, it says it's not, but being that it's Manufacturer to Dealer cash - they could probably apply it if they wanted to ... If anyone knows, or has been able to do a deal in April, let me know if they were able to use it - a Lease at $2000 below invoice and attractive money factors would make me consider this as well. Thanks!
