So it could be sold for $35,600 and the dealer would still be ahead by $225. BUT that doesn't take into account that a dealership has substantial overhead in the form of salaries, taxes, insurance, utilities, commissions, profit, and on and on. I suppose if a dealer was for some reason extremely desperate to move his inventory, maybe. Under normal circumstances, $225 is not going to be enough to be profitable. KM said they had the largest inventory in Southern California, but you can go through the Escondido dealer and actually buy one from the KM lot. They told me that they trade cars between the two dealerships all the time. Replying to: jonas4 (Oct 31, 2009 4:51 pm) If your planning to buy a new G37X with electric steering wheel, make sure the steering wheel does not have a slight play because there's a good chance the dealer can't fix this type of problem.I own one and the reason the dealer and manufacturer told me is that "slight play of the steering column is normal characteristic of this model year and vehicle " which I find unacceptable. I still have the problem as of this writing. Good luck.
