Replying to: cipolla (Apr 09, 2009 7:21 pm) it was probably totally inappropriate, too-fast driving, but i was driving 40-50 mph in 4wd. i could feel the tires constantly slipping but catching immediately, and i really pushed the car to its limits. overall, i felt very comfortable, toasty with seat warmers, xm radio.... overall, powered through snow no problem. cant wait for the next snowstorm.. teeheee... |

If you are going to park the Veracruz, I guess that lets you off the hook computing the cost per mile of using premium vs regular True, but then again, the cost per mile will be higher with premium unless there is a huge difference in MPG. I only use it because I get a bigger smile per mile when I push the pedal and make it go, and it doesn't use MORE gas when I do. If I saw a drop in MPG like I would in the crown Vic I had, then I would never use it again. More power, slightly better economy, makes it worth spending a little more occasionally on the premium, up to a point. Once 87 hits $2.50 though, back to pulse and glide in the camry |
