Bad sqeaking noise and heater problems by koolkikitty

Does anyone have an idea why my 03 Exp. (67,000 miles) is making a LOUD squeaking noise when slowing down, coming to a stop and braking ? This noise is driving me crazy ! I have had both front and back brakes replaced 2x in the past year. The last place I took it to replaced the rear differential and the noise stopped for a while. Then about 4 months later, the noise is back. I took it in and they could not find the noise. The noise was very random at first, but it is now constant. I finally took it in again when it got worse and it made the noise. The technician said my emerg. brake pad was rubbing, and adjusted that and said it was fixed. It's obviously not fixed ! Any ideas ?

Also, the passenger side heater is not working. Of course again I took it in and the guy asked me if I knew how to turn "the little silver discs?" Yes, I am a woman, but I have had the truck for three years and I know how to operate the heater. It is now refusing to blow heat on the right side, but will work on the left. I would appreciate any insight !
