Yes, I have one, unless you are very good with self control, you will most likely find yourself in front of a pair of flashing lights. Having owned and driven my 2008 GP GXP for the last 40k miles I have found very few issues, (except a factory defective speaker that is covered any replaced under warranty) One is the speed problem, it is very smooth and hard to stay under 70mph, Second, The sunroof if you get that option is very loud compared to many other vehicles I have come to love with sunroofs. Third would be the winter ride.. If snow is a common in your area.. expect a very slow travel time, the 8" front tires slosh and slide horribly on the get go if you are to anxious, or of course you could go the other way, turn off you traction control, and burn yourself a path wherever you are going.. worked for me in Wisconsin. But other than this speech.. the rest of the car is great, Amazing driver comfort, solid steering wheel, on-screen-display is nice, exhaust purr is pleasant, tunes are great for a beginner (may need to upgrade sound system if your used to blowing you ears), back seats are nice even on long rides, a lot of trunk room for a new car, (you don't get a spare tire, you get a repair kit) And all your friends will like your car to.

I've been looking around for a fair weather car, like an LHS, Concorde, Bonneville V8 (Northstar had lots of problems so that's out), and I just thought (bing!) of the Grand Prix GXP.
It's a proven ohv V8 similar to what's been used for years in trucks and other critters, the car was engineered for the torque regarding the half shafts and wheel/tire/strut package.
Tire Rack has snows for the GXP now, that was a slight problem given the front and rear tires are different sizes. I see four or five different brand tires that are made in both F and R sizes which will allow of-a-set replacements.
I'm just getting started in my search, to me this looks like a great bargain car in that these can be had for under 15 grand under 50 or 40K miles.
