I have had the exact same issue with the tire pressure system twice now. Upon start up my car sounds like a truck, but then quiets down upon warming up. Have heard that that is caused by the high pressure of the direct injection system. A friend of mine says that it reminds him of a cheap worn out Toyota rather then a brand new Caddy. Nothing like friends to cheer you up. |

I have an '09 CTS with the double panel sunroof, and I'm getting a lot of wind noise that seems to be coming from the sunroof as soon as I'm driving 50-60 mph. It really gets bad over 70 mph. This issue has existed the entire time since I purchased the car approx 7 months ago. Live and learn, I didn't drive over 50 mph on my test drive. The car has been into the Dealer for service multiple times. They've had multiple theories on what's causing the problem, but can't get it fixed. They have completed the fix recommended from the factory bulletin on this issue, but the wind noise still exists. The Dealer is now telling me there's nothing else they can do, that this is normal wind noise for a CTS with this sunroof, and that the next thing for me to do is file a claim with Cadillac Customer Service, which I did last Fri. Please share any info you have on this issue with CTS's that have the double panel sunroof, especially if you had the problem and were able to get it resolved. Thanks.

| I've only checked my mileage twice. In a mostly urban route got about 16 and in a highway route got about 20.5 mpg. The car only has 2800 miles, so I'm hoping for an improvement. | |
| Yeah same here. Had my 09 CTS since Jan and haven't even thought about worrying about my mileage yet. I'll check it about 10K miles...loving the car thus far though...got it just before the red tag sale ended.... | |

I just bought a 09 cts a month ago. i live in south fl. and when the car sits in the hot sun the climate control fan only comes up to about 3/4 speed with the temp control set at 70 degrees. if I lower it to 60 deg or put the fan on high manually it works fine. I had a 05 cts and have had climate control in cars since 1988 and when the car was hot inside the fan would come up to full speed until the car began to cool down. I had the car back to cadillac and they are telling me that the factory says this is normal in the 0908 and 09 cts. I do not buy that. has any one else experienced this and if so what was the fix. as for wind noiuse in the sun roof, there is none when it is closed and the gas mileage on highway driving is great. over 30 mpg at 75 mph. local is about 20 mpg. I had a 05 cts with an aftermarket sun roof and that always had wind noise and they could not stop it. joey245 |
