I hear you, I've read up on it and GM claims that it can get at least 18mpg, which is good. But Hybrids cost so much to maintane, it was on the news a month ago and they were talking to a car expert and he was saying that hybrids are not worth it. But you would feel good about yourself knowing that you are doing your best to help save the planet.

Do you know what it is going to sticker for? Personally I can't see paying a huge premium for 25% bump in MPG. I get 14-15 city and 19 highway, sure 18-24 would be nice...but not for 5-10k more.

I just heard on Fox that Hannity is going to be one of the first in line for the new 2009 Escalade Hybrid. I hope to be next in line. It will hve to be seen about the actual MPG. But it will be better and I can't believe the Cadillac owners-lovers in this country are not buzzing on this information. I can hardly get a rise-up...I am excited about the prospect.

I am surprised by that too but I think that will change as the release date gets closer and they start actively promoting it in the press.
