I have watched this closely. There is no change in the RPM's and it does not matter if I am in cruise or not. It most frequently happens at 60-65mph at cruise coming down a hill. I will occasionally happen when pulling a hill at consistent speed. This is not a change in gears. The dealer tells me this is normal

I think you mean torque converter slippage? You always want the TC to lock up as much as possible, that means less slippage and less heat. -mike

Yeah, even the new Nissan Rogue has a cc limit of under 90mph.- « Previous
